What you'll do:
As Project Manager - Asset Management Implementation, you will immerse yourself in one of the most ambitious transformation programmes within investment operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating complex migrations and implementations while ensuring all stakeholders are aligned towards common goals. You will be instrumental in designing robust strategies for both migration and testing phases-ensuring systems are ready for change without disruption. By working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across different regions, you will foster best practices that drive operational efficiency. Your ability to build relationships will be crucial as you coordinate efforts between internal teams and external partners. Success in this role means not only delivering on project milestones but also contributing innovative ideas that improve processes and outcomes for everyone involved.
• Serve as the primary liaison between all functional teams including Operations, Business Management, Front and Middle Office, Sales, Client Services, Compliance, Legal, Technology, service providers, third-party vendors, and the internal programme team to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design, execute, and manage the migration Command Centre as well as develop and maintain the comprehensive implementation playbook that guides all phases of the migration process.
• Support and drive the testing strategy by ensuring systems and processes are fully prepared for transition to the new strategic operating model, focusing on readiness and risk mitigation at every stage.
• Collaborate closely with various workstreams to design, track, and execute all aspects of testing activities including defect management, ensuring quality standards are consistently met across platforms.
• Partner with global and regional managers to establish consistency in best practices while providing thought leadership that influences operational excellence across locations.
• Define and evolve migration strategies that deliver economies of scale and reduce expense ratios as business grows while also improving timeliness and quality of global data integration.
• Take accountability for successful system migrations by overseeing readiness assessments, coordinating resources, managing timelines, and resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.
• Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement by building strong partnerships with business units, technology teams, operations professionals, and other key contributors within a matrix organisation.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance product capabilities, and support business-led solutions that align with organisational objectives.
What you bring:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing extensive testing efforts across multiple platforms with hands-on experience using JIRA governance tools and Confluence documentation systems.
• Exceptional prioritisation skills coupled with a proven ability to execute against deliverables while taking personal accountability for project outcomes and issue resolution.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills that facilitate clear reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Proven track record of building cohesive partnerships with business units, operations teams, technology groups, and other stakeholders within matrix organisations.
• Experience leading high-performing teams of operations professionals by motivating others through supportive leadership approaches that encourage collaboration.
• Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and influence decision-making processes so that operational perspectives are always considered in final outcomes.
• Comprehensive understanding of investment processes along with associated market practices; able to think strategically about creating business-led solutions that add value.
• Preferred: Experience in investment accounting or middle office functions as well as product knowledge related to equities, unit dealing, mutual funds or similar offerings.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications plus familiarity with Tableau analytics tools or SQL databases; comfortable engaging with colleagues at all levels.
